The Dunes Golf Club was established in 1982, bringing a rich tradition of golf to the Glen Lake-Sleeping Bear Dunes area. The course opened the following spring as a 3,152-yard, 9-hole layout, offering a scenic yet enjoyable challenge for players of all skill levels. As the club grew, the back nine was developed in the fall of 1989 and officially opened in 1991. Though shorter at 2,578 yards, the back nine demands precision with its narrow, tree-lined fairways, adding a strategic element to every round.

Today, The Dunes Golf Club features an 18-hole course spanning 5,730 yards, providing both relaxing and competitive play in a welcoming environment. The clubhouse offers essential amenities, including a pro shop, club rentals, and power carts, ensuring a seamless golfing experience. Guests can also enjoy a variety of refreshments from the snack bar, with classic options like hot dogs, coffee, and Coca-Cola products.
